Ottawa Architecture Week 2026

ORSA is happy to present Ottawa Architecture Week 2026, Currents of Bytowne, from September 21 - October 2.

This year, as Bytown celebrates its bicentennial, we’re looking back at the forces that have shaped Ottawa’s architecture over the past 200 years. One theme kept coming back to us: waterways. 🌊

From the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal to the shorelines, bridges, infrastructure, and neighbourhoods shaped by them, water has played a defining role in how our city has grown and how we experience it today.

Join us for Ottawa Architecture Week 2026 as we explore the relationship between architecture, the city, and its waterways through tours, talks, exhibitions, installations, and conversations—and consider how these connections might shape Ottawa’s future.

We’ll be adding more event details over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out!
